This reel features Nevis and Samantha Klaudt with Gary and Christianne Klaudt (dad and mom), taken in Hobbiton, near Matamata, New Zealand in the Fall of 2023. This movie set was built by Peter Jackson (Producer and Director) for the movies of “Lord of the Rings” (adapted from the books by J.R.R. Tolkien). The entire set was then demolished for the restoration of the property and land of this family-run farm. But then, the entire set was again rebuilt for ‘The Hobbit’ movies, and is currently under construction to add an interactive visit into the home of Samwise Gamgee. (Every single leaf on the tree above Bag end is hand painted…) With five stars to our tour guide, Anna, we snapped a hundred small video clips, and by the magic of Nevis’ touch, this reel was created of our journey into Hobbiton….
